Mother Cherry Key Hill was born to the late Mr. Willie Williams and Mrs. Rose Lee Hampton (Hopkins). On August 10, 1939 in Belzoni Mississippi.
Mother Cherry Key Hill professed Christ at an early age of twelve and was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the gift of the holy ghost at the age of twelve. She later moved to Indianapolis where she became a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for over 30 years  and  Mt. Zion Apostolic Church.
Mother Cherry Key Hill was united in holy matrimony to Andrew Lee Hill Sr. February 17, 1965. To this union, they happy raised ten children.
Mother Cherry Key Hill truly allowed the life that she live speak for her. She exemplified a woman of God. She loved the Lord and lived as such. She was faithful, honest, humble, kind, selfless, nurturing but most importantly a loving mother and wife. Momma Cherry was a true servant of God she would give her very last to other less fortunate. She dedicated her life to God and her family as she was a homemaker, she made her house a home filled with love, peace, and most important Christ. She enjoyed living for Christ, attending bible study, Sunday school and Sunday morning services. As her Shepard feed her the word of God she feed her family the word of God. Momma Cherry always had a sermon to share with her children in a time of trouble, in a time of celebration, in a time of uncertainty she had a word.  Momma Cherry had the word of God on her lips not just some of the time but at all time.  She would tell her children “ love is an action word”. Without speaking you would know that she was a child of God. One of her favorite songs was “I am a living testimony” and she was.
